On May 21, 2022 the Harris / Galveston County’s REACT Team participated at the City of Galveston’s Hurricane Town Hall. The primary mission was to establish a working relationship with city official’s and the community as well as provide education on being Galveston Hurricane Ready.
Mayor Craig Brown along with city council members were present at the event. Many other community organizations were also present including the Texas Office of Emergency Management, Houston/Galveston National Weather Service, the Galveston Salvation Army, the Galveston Red Cross, Galveston County ARES, Galveston City Fire Department, Galveston County Humane Society, Texas Windstorm Insurance Association, and Texas General Land Office.
The REACT Team in Harris / Galveston County, Texas, and members of REACT Intl. throughout the world are dedicated and trained volunteers that are always on willing to assist wherever and whenever needed.
