On May 7, 2022 members of Harris / Galveston County’s REACT Team #6272 assisted the East Side Amateur Radio Club with hosting the Baytown Hamfest. The primary mission was to assist with parking lot traffic and after event cleanup.
As the crowd started to come the Harris / Galveston REACT took control of directing the flow of vehicle traffic to the appropriate parking areas. Using FRS (Family Radio Service) due to the close working proximity, the team was able to quickly and effectively established communication between REACT Team Members.
The REACT Team in Harris / Galveston County, Texas, and members of REACT Intl. throughout the world are dedicated and trained volunteers that are always on willing to assist wherever and whenever needed.
